More mutants, modes, and monstrous tricks await in this action-packed sequel to the award-winning Mutant Football League on next-gen consoles
Chicago, IL - April 22, 2022 - If you’ve ever thought “what if Mutant Football League had even more features, more plays, and more multiplayer,” you’re not alone. Digital Dreams Entertainment thought the same, so they decided to make a sequel: Mutant Football League 2. Development on Mutant Football League 2 is currently underway. Digital Dreams Entertainment can’t give an estimate on when it may launch, because some of the team based in Kyiv, Ukraine is still affected by the war, but they can promise it’ll be worth the wait.
Digital Dreams is building Mutant Football League 2 for next-gen consoles, which allows for a substantially higher level of presentation quality thanks in no small part to physically based rendering. Improved lighting and shadow effects, smoother animations, and a more advanced collision system are just some of the planned improvements.
Mutant Football League 2 is bigger and faster than the original and hits harder, with vicious new Dirty Tricks and expanded roles for All Stars. Digital Dreams is also going deep on Mutant Football League 2’s online features, adding new modes and ways to shake up the classic game.
Whether you’re online or off, Digital Dreams is giving you even more ways to strategize by adding an eighth player to the field, raising the number of receivers to four. And that’s not all. Mutant Football League 2 features more plays and formations than ever before and more hazards as well. Weather conditions change during matches, throwing a wrench into your best-laid plans with new obstacles – or maybe even giving you an unexpected advantage over your opponent. You’ll also be able to create custom teams and even draft MFL players to your roster in our new and improved Dynasty Supreme franchise mode.
